Happy first birthday, Samuel!
His birthday was really Thursday, but his party was today. This is Sam, my nephew, who lives in Auburn. Isn't he adorable? His party was baseball themed, and Grandma Fischer made the adult cake as the field and his cake as a ball and mitt. The weather cooperated, the birthday boy stayed awake for most of his party, and it was a nice relaxing time catching up with relatives.

He's a cutie! It's fun seeing other 1st birthdays...it always makes me think of my own kids' 1st birthdays.
