Torchlight parade tonight.  It was fun to walk the parade route and get a snack at 7Eleven like years past.  One of my favorite parts was seeing the living room and kitchen built by the spectators, just like years past, complete with carpet.

Every day I try to rack up 8 hours of at least 250 steps, inspired by Joan to not just move but to spread the movement through the day.  With so few people in the office I can walk places I normally don't, and this brought me joy.

I was thinking that the church has so few outings and it was an aooportunity to hear some gospel music and I never dreamed I would not get to bed until 11pm... novice!

Celebrating 30 years today.  Well, celebrating all of this banner year, but today is the official day.  The weeks, months, and years quickly turn into a life curated together with all its ups and downs and adventures.  So blessed!

Anniversary dinner.  It was yummy and nice, but got a bit of a slow start with no waiter, no water, no service.  "Wanna go get tacos instead?"

We only hiked about 6 miles, but it was a strenuous 6 miles.  Snow, log bridges, tons of elevation, lots of people.

Off to Buckley for an anniversary getaway.  We seem to be staying at updated motels this year.  This one had a new bathroom, pretty laminate floors, and these vintage looking appliances.  Too cute!

This was supposed to be a team photo, but my teammates don't listen and my arms aren't long enough.  So here I am with my newest boss driving our electric boat.  Over 3 hours on the water, it was such a lovely evening.

MAVen book club night.  We discussed These Truths, a depressing deep dive into American politics.  We had some great discussions and some great food at Cactus.

Crowded Link ride south, paddling with Anastasia, then crowded Link ride north.  Bruce went to the Sounders game, the same reason for my crowded light rail.  But it was a great day to be out on the water.

Vacation day! Well, technically a WY designated holiday.  Even better!  I love having the 5th of July off.  A chance to sleep in, to relax, to read in orange chairs.  Currently reading Americanah, which seems kind of fitting.
