We went to Bellevue today to attend a Night Before Christmas tea.  Too fun!

MAven night!  Welcome fall, dodging the raindrops to get to Cactus.  Good discussion, good book: Don't forget to write.

We got going to walk around the island this morning.  Low tide was 6:30 am, we headed out at 8:30, and still lost some beach to make the complete loop.  A bit over four miles in two hours on sand and rock with great views.  We saw a lot of eagles, seals in and out of the water, and this retriever Dax wanted to join us.

Sunset walk with the drone selfie.  We didn't bring the flashlight so we had to watch the clock and get back to the cabin before it got dark.  It's quiet and dark on Hat Island.

And we're off on our adventure to Hat Island!  This is when we got to relax, after trying to find the ferry, rushign with all our gear, coming close to missing the only evening ferry, and having to tear down the packed wagon once we got on board.

Mid week late night, seeing the Little Mermaid play with the kiddos.  It was really fun to see how they made it feel like they were under water.
