We spent the afternoon in Olympia Ingressing.  We got lucky to be outside between rain showers, a few drops on the camera in this photo.  Saw some fun stuff near the capital.

Weyerhaeuser decided not to do a company wide diaper drive this year, but Longview decided to move forward with collecting diapers for a local charity.  21,000 diapers fills one cubicle to the brim...

At Parents Weekend, we had a plethora of options of things to attend and visit.  This was called the Makers Summit, where students showed off things they have made in their free time.  Xander liked the Pixar like lamp and Bruce was intrigued by the car that didn't race.

Our lake has a solar system walk, with plaques for all the planets, spaced out proportionally.

The plaque closest to our house is Uranus, which is the butt of many jokes.  Obviously, the butt of bathroom jokes at Jimmy Johns as well... placed on the floor near the toilet, feet markers included.

A sunny day in Astoria!  Well,t his was Warrenton, technically.

When we first arrived at Fort Stevens I saw this empty jeep and thought it would be fun for photos, but we were in a hurry to see the park before it closed.  As we were leaving we had time, but we had to wait our turn for all the other families with kids to get their photos first.
