The waves were bigger today; some of them chewed us up and spit us out. It was great fun for about an hour; then we walked the 2 blocks to the calmer waters.
I call Anastasia surfer girl and Xander runner boy. I’m kind of glad he runs for dry sand when the biggest waves are approaching; one less person to worry about! Anastasia seems quite content to boogie board or body surf, and didn’t seem to be drinking as much salt water as the rest of us.
