This weekend about 7,000 of us headed to Portland for the Revolve Tour. This is the teenage version of Women of Faith – nine and a half hours of concerts, skits, and speakers wrapped over two days. 10 of us adults took 24 of our youth group girls to the event. Plus, a slumber party at a Portland church.
Some themes of the weekend were that you are the only you there is (embrace your uniqueness, get comfortable in your own skin) and let your life be your message (be available, act now to be the change you want to see). Something that spoke to me where I am is that God knows that life is hard and he is here to carry us through.
I took a ton of photos this weekend, but I was disappointed that the teenagers were getting better photos that I was. So here is Anastasia right before the program started.

That sounds like a fun weekend... and would have been a good weekend for me (the whole uniqueness and being comfortable with who we are). I think it is neat that you took the youth group.
