We sat down as a family to fill out our census form today. I took a photo, but the whole thing was kind of anti climatic. But we've done our part.
What was more exciting was the power outage this afternoon. Have you ever seen a street light with no light at all, not even blinking red? How about every light on your path being that way? it was eerie. Our building lost power at work, but it doesn't seem to have impacted much more.
I used it as an excuse to go home, get in the garden, and walk the lake with Bruce and Xander.
