Most people who know me know that I dislike the phone. I don't feel comfortable on it, it's not my friend. I wonder if I would enjoy my job in an era before e-mail.
But I can rise to the occasion when I need to. Like returning work voicemail by phone rather than by e-mail. Or by calling a prospective renter. Or coordinating schedules with my family for our sudden trip to California. Or listening to mom rattle a wee bit.
"I keep the telephone of my mind open to peace, harmony, health, love, and abundance. Then, whenever doubt, anxiety, or fear try to call me, they keep getting a busy signal - and soon they'll forget my number." - Edith Armstrong
