It's better living near the lake for Thursday night summer concerts.
It's best living near the lake for the Go Fourth Festival.
Except for an exciting trip to Home Depot and Wal-mart for duplex supplies, the lake consumed our day. The kids had the 8-10am shift for the church parking lot fundraiser. I walked in the parade for Relay for Life. We had lunch from the vendor booths. Bruce and I watched all of the heats of the cardboard boat races. I enjoyed the people & energy during my evening walk.
There was a lot more seating for the boat races this year, a lot more boat entries, and still plenty of sinking ships.
