10-26-10

So the produce stand had little packets of candy corn for sale for $0.25. And caramel apples!

But I stuck to my guns and only bought the fresh fruit. No kiwi today, but asian pears were back.

Tonight the kids (plus Danny; Danny or Anthony or both are often with us it seems) had Young Life, giving Bruce and I enough time to hit Lowe’s (for our house, not the rentals!) and Starbucks (to talk about the rentals).

“Candy Corn is the only candy in the history of America that's never been advertised. And there's a reason. All of the candy corn that was ever made was made in 1911.” – Lewis Black
