It crossed my mind to send my family north and stay home in a quiet house this weekend to rest and recover from this bug.
That may have left me better equipped to face another Monday, but I would have missed out on several opportunities to reconnect with various relatives.
So while the others got drenched at the Husky stadium, I had a lovely visit with G&G. We played several games of marbles, racing around the home made board to try to stop Grama's winning streak.
