Today got away from me, didn’t get nearly enough done.
Part of the reason is that I wasn’t expecting to spend
several hours at the pool again. Xander
ended up making it to districts with the relay team. It was a fun meet to watch, with some really
great athletes and the odd stuffed platypus cheering and posing with the
swimmers. Several of the boys were kids
we knew when we lived in Aberdeen ,
that was strange seeing them 9 years older.
Xander swam on two relay teams which came in fourth and sixth place. And now swim is truly over, because only the top three go to state. I’m proud that Xander stuck through it, especially
this last week that we wasn’t at all enthused about.
