Tonight kicked off Relay for Life 2013. I went to the meeting feeling pretty lackluster about another
year (I got to stand up as relaying for ten to 20 years), but left energized.
We had super hero capes, glo sticks, inspirational stories, and
a silly song. So why do I relay? For my dad, for survivors I know, for my co-workers, and to not be
the one out of 3 women to face cancer in their lifetime.
