Today we attended the opening ceremonies for the trail in
the Highlands .
Well, we really participated around the edges, since we were crossing
guards at various intersections along the trail. I was at the busy street with my Cub Scout
buddies Alex and Kylar. They have been
learning about the roles of mayor and president at school, so they were very
impressed when the mayor gave them some extra attention when he passed by. It comes in handy to know the mayor!
