An update on the hay bales project. Since every time I say hay bales Bruce says “aren’t
they really straw bales?”… for the accurate people… An update on the straw
bales project.
I need to thin out the starts, they are happily
growing. I’m going to try to transplant
some to areas that aren’t growing as well.
You can see the ugly mushrooms I’ve been battling (in the bottom right),
but they are easy to pull out.
The areas I covered are doing much better than the exposed
ones, so guess next year I’ll be investing in more seedling covers.
