Our ranunculus is happy, but not our squirrels.
We have a big squirrel nest in the plum tree in the front yard. When I'm digging, I am always finding big walnut shells, hidden away by the squirrels. I laugh at how silly they are to leave their stuff all over the place and not come back for it.
But, now I'm thinking that they really do remember where they hide their loot. Note that the upper left hand corner of this planter is not looking so healthy. And that is where I found a walnut...
