Tongiht was the Torchlight parade.  As usual, we roamed the parade route enjoying the sights.  The most amusing is the couches people set out to watch the parade.

Bad Bishop.  A fun but warm place to dine after a long week.

Mom and I are hanging out this evening, walking around the city and exploring the library.

Stuck in a conference room, filling the wipe boards with random numbers... super fun project, especially when none of the data ties out...

Saturday adventures.  Two meals from food trucks, one of them free!  We explored the new Seattle CIty Light substation park near Bruce's work today, then South Lake Union.

A slice of life photo... on light rail, with Bruce playing Harry Potter, and glimpses of other passengers also buried in their phones.

Another photo taken at Corporate Headquarters.  This quote has been a common theme through the past 25 years, it is fun to see it so prominant in our lobby.

Happy anniversary... more time at work than with Bruce this year.

Book club night again.  I saw this display at Barnes & Noble and it was a real walk down memory lane of the past 9 months or more.  I started with Clock Dance, my first book with Emily and our rag-tag group.

Here's the conference room that I have been spending way too many hours in - 12 hours a day, last weekend, it feels a bit like jail right now.

The early morning security guard and I have the same routine as I flash my badge and head to the elevators - bemoaning another Monday then counting down to another Friday.  These weeks fly by, but it doesn't always feel like it at 6am.  Happy Monday!

We ate on the back porch of this Mexican restaurant in Pioneer Square tonight after another weekend day physically at the office.  People were constantly stopping to snap photos and this was a stop on tours, so afterwards we walked down the alley to get the full view.

One of my favorite places to be.  The view, the rest, spendign time reading, chatting, or watching.  Worked today, but still got to spend some time here.

Took the light rail to UW this evening for a Presidents Circle gathering.  What a lovely evening to hang out in Sylvan Grove.  The columns, named "Loyalty", "Industry", "Faith", and "Efficiency" (LIFE), have been housed in this grassy theater since 1921.

It seems like the only thing I can schedule in my life anymore, other than hair appointments, is book club.  Another thing to manage, to try to get the books read with so little down time, but a great escape to read and discuss.

It's been the kind of day/week/month/year where this sign brings more than a slight chuckle.  Too bad I don't like whiskey...

How could I turn down dinner at the Brooklyn?  Hanging out with out of town co-workers tonight.

A lot of sidewalks I would liek to walk on are blocked for construction.

Paying last respects to Dad Fischer today, honoring him with an adventure of sorts.  It was nice how everyone had storeis to tella bout how Bruce Sr. had made a difference in their life.

Declutter, clean, try to make decisions for others, sort through lots of memories.  We find ourselves emptying out yet another house...

Enjoying my peekaboo view while we enjoy watching Conan O'Brien.

Happy 4th of July!  Kind of a low key day, but enjoyed hanging out with the kids.

Grocery shopping on Capital Hill after work.  With a four day weekend stretching out before us, felt like a Friday night.  Enjoyed this graffiti.

A work related still life taken from my desk.  My mini orchid from Rhonda is still alive, and my co-workers filthy coffee cup and textbook just struck me as represetnative of life right now.

As I was leaving the office tonight there was an astronaut walking down the park.  I thought it was very odd, until Bruce told me it is the 50 year anniversary of the moon landing...
