Today in Vancouver my bosses awarded me with my 15 year service award. We joked that this has been my worst year at Weyerhaeuser, and it has been by far, but this too shall pass.Fifteen years seems like a lot, and it is, but it is not very noteworthy here where 30 and 40 years of service are common. I spent my first year in internal audit, but since then I have been in the same division under the same leadership. Getting very specialized in company logging operations.
I don't wear my hardhat very much, so my service award stickers go on my name block instead.
