Poppy was disappointed that the spray park wasn't spraying water at the South Park playground, so Grandpa gave her a personalized spray experience.  She kept going back for more water fountain play.

The holiday was just a normal work day, but I did take a longer lunch and met Bruce at PAX for some red beans and rice.

How quickly we remember that we don't love big crowds.

The Argosy boat is just visible on the lake.  We were crammed in with 400 people for a 45 minute sailgate to the game, getting there well later than we normally would and got to wait in long entrance lines.

No midgame snacks because the lines were too long and we prioritized the restroom lines.

The Huskies won, the weather was great, still glad I went, but not quite what I envisioned...

Finished my last book and turned in my summer Book Bingo card tonight.  12 books total is not a strong showing, but considering how busy life is, I'm happy to have gotten two bingo rows.  And a lot of fun books, can't pick a favorite.

Our favorite "chicken" park often has random items left there.  Not sure where they come from.  Today it was a pile of children's books.  So we climbed in the truck cab (this park has everything - basketball courts, chickens, a big mailbox, art to interact with, a flower garden, a water fountain, two playgrounds, and an old pick-up truck) for story time, which was more of steering wheel fun time...

Enjoying the night market in Richmond.

The Richmond Night Market (in Richmond, BC, just south of Vancouver) is one of the largest and most chaotic night markets in North America. It’s loud, crowded, neon‑lit, food‑obsessed, and extremely fun if you like sensory overload. It’s basically a mashup of a Taiwanese night market + Pacific Northwest food festival. Expect long lines and extremely photogenic small bites.

The wheels on the bus... I have a new favorite website... vinted.com.  It is what ebay used to be, people selling stuff.  Clothes stuff and toy stuff.  So easy to load up on things I think Poppy would enjoy for way less than retail.

Watched Devil Wears Prada 2, touched on how much print magazines are struggling.  I bet AARP will be one of the last to go compeltely digital.

I like my books digital but my magazines in print.
