The neighbors may not like all the loose hay in the alley, and they surely won’t like the smell of the hay bales decomposing as I condition them for planting, but maybe they should have stopped driving through my alley garden!
Trying a new adventure, gardening in hay bales, supposedly cheaper and easier than raised beds since the bale provides part of the growing medium. Got through the first challenge of finding the needed fertilizers and getting 9 bales home, thanks to Bruce. I can't even budge the rain soaked behemoths!
