I got a letter from Wilsonville Corrections Facility today, I have a new pen-pal!  One of the things I found when researching how to help racial justice to to mentor folks in prison, so here goes a new adventure!

I'm trying to read more this summer.  I see that the Seattle Library and Seattle Art Lectures have an adult book bingo contest going, so I may play along and see how many of my reads fit. I ahd to research what afrofuturism is as a genre, but hey!  Life is all about the stretch...

I thought it was a long shot.  But Mom and I went in search of the limited edition Dick's Drive In Menu Hat, only available at the Queen Anne location.  Xander wanted one, so we walked over there, and scored the last two hats they had!

Did a quick one-way jaunt through the aquarium to visit the otters.  Perfect timing, got to see their feeding.  Missed these guys!

Jefferson and Grays Harbor counties, you sure suck at masking up.  But, you do a great job of signage on the floors.  If only I looked on the floor more!  But, these social distancing signs at the Rusty Tractor resturant in Elma certainly caught my attention.

It's raining in the rain forest?!?  The Hoh River is sure off the beaten path, but so worth the extra drive!  We both love it here, even with the dripping weather.

Hiking near Lake Crescent in Olympic National Park.  Easy to get steps with plenty of elevation here.  Love the big trees, greenery everywhere, and ocean views.  Not loving all the time in the car and lack of mask wearing in towns.
