 My cords are newly corralled, I tried to make the cords less messy and I set up my office space again after packing it all to Portland.  And a big jar of Ibuprofen from sleeping and working in a different less comfortable environment.

Finally got to see the Ole Bolle troll in Portland to complete the northwest Way of the Bird King series.  This one is pretty cool!

Our home for a long weekend in the Kerns neighborhood of Portland.  Trying to work today with all the recess time from the school next door was a little challenging, but it's nice to have a change of pace.

Soaking in some Diwali festivities today.  Interupted with a fire alarm and distracted by a Space Needle winter pass, but still nice to soak up some culture.

Husky girls basketball with Xander and Alison tonight.  It was a long game but we won and it was a fun evening.

Halloween felt really far away, but it is in a few weeks.  I probably won't get my costumes organized for this year, I'm jsut not feeling it and this year it is not an in office day.  But still enjoying the season.

12th fan may be a Seahawks term, but feels like Seattle is full of sports fans this week.  The Kraken, Sounders, Huskies, Seahawks, and Mariners are all playing and the Mariners making into the playoffs is bringing so much energy.  Enjoying it all from the sidelines.

And back to work.  At least I have a company laptop that brings me joy with all the stickers.  It all started with one sticker as a gift after a llama spit on me.

Happy 30th Jacob!  We maybe didn't utilize this great weekend rental to its full capacity, but we all had some rest and time together and that is a big win.

Happy birthday Grampa!  Poppy is teething but she is a trooper.  She always likes texture, but especially on her sore gums.  Kale to the rescue!

Usually I am trying to get a bunch of heatlh and spiritual things done each day.  Today I flipped it on it's head and tried to see how little I could do.  556 steps late in the day, crazy low for me.

 Nice to have the dry weather back for our evening down south.  We had dinner at the pizza place in my work building.  TGIF!

Poppy's back!  With a frilly skirt, but its not slowing her down from crawling all over the apartment.  Her and grandpa enjoying looking out the windows.  She enjoys seeing cars, birds, and the huge fans on top of buildings.

A rainy first day of October and happened across an accident scene on my morning commute.  A car smack in the middle of the sidewalk, wrapped around a tree.  No matter how hard this week feels, weighed down with low energy, at least I'm not in that situation!
