Creativity time!  Serve Day was a combination of vacuuming up broken glass and getting creative with handmade bookmarks and heartfelt cards for Mother's Day kits for the women's shelter.

Walking along False Creek today taking in the sights.  Destination fresh raspberries at Greenville Island.  I thought that was our halfway point but Bruce decided that was the final destination.

A long weekend in historic Gastown.  This is their famous steam clock.  The clock displays the wrong time, but it strikes at the right time.

Purge Day!

Pulled everything out from under the bed and sorted it to garbage, Goodwill, or keep.  Funny how my tastes change and sad to say goodbye to some old friends in the wardrobe, but feel good about weeding out about half of the pile.

Same tulips from earlier this week, but this time in the dark.  Couldn't get online from home and needed to keep things moving, so walked to work before 6am.  Hard to think I used to do that all the time as my normal routine, I much prefer to enjoy a cup of coffee before heading to the office.

No walk with Mom tonight.  Bruce and I were walking around Belltown, looking at things from the perspecive of our new building, and I saw these bright blooming trees with the Cinarama/SIFF Downtown and our new Arrive building peeking behind the trees.

Our outing today was to head to Shoreline and Kirkland to see two new affordable housing buildings under construction that should land on Bruce's plate soon.

Girls Night!

Lyndi, Kimberly, and I headed down to Kent to see the Mercy Me concert.

We got gas at Costco, had dinner at Agave, a snack at Panera, then the concert.  We were surprised but I was delighted that Newsboys also performed.

I'm sad I'm not getting to UW to see the cherry blossoms this year, but life is busy and at least I get to see some pretty blooms on my commute.

 And the fitness center wars escalate.

I went to run on the treadmill at 5am, a four day a week routine.

The concierge came up like normal, to check that it was me, since the guy below the fitness center immediately complained... again.

He came up and asked me to stop and explained why it was an issue for me to be making noise above his unit.  I told him I had permission and explained why it was an issue to not be able to work out on the treadmill early in the morning.  We were at an impasse after a long conversation, so I put my earbuds back in.  He proceeded to unplug the machine I was using.

We so need to move!
