Here's the WHOOP app.  It's fun early in the morning, because my ranking in the Seattle community is pretty high.  Not many people in seattle excercising during the 4am hour, so I can make a lot of gains.  Also fun that an Alex Fisher is almost always near the top of the list.

Oh, boy, it's wildfire smoke today for sure.  So thick you can almost chew it!  Not looking forward to rain this weekend, but ready to get the fires under control and the air cleared out.

Meet my new fitness tracker, WHOOP.

It's not really geared toward me, it is more for elite athletes.  It doesn't even track steps or distance or have a screen, for crying out loud.  But it is really strong for tracking sleep and recovery, two things I really struggle with, so I decided to give it a go.

So far enjoying all the metrics, and more seem to unlock every day.  Here's to more fitness and well being!

We took Molly to Green Lake tonight for the water latern festival.  Food truck dinner, decorating laterns, and walking the lake to view the lit laterns as more and more were launched.

Mine says Hope, Molly's says Reach for the Stars, and the one Molly decorated for Bruce has a hot air balloon.

MAVen book club tonight with an honorary member.  Shanna had suggested that we read The Overstory by Richard Powers, and she came to the Sphere's with us to discuss the book.  The Spheres were a great backdrop to such a nature heavy book, there was even a banyan tree.
