The Sacramento airport has a really cool giant jackrabbit vector art statue at the escalators. It also has crazy long lines. Good times when your kid can't ever remeber if you were born in 1971 or 1972 and guessed wrong when buying my plane ticket. So long March, so long Sacramento!

Preparing to move out of Xander's temporary Sarcramento home. So much art, so many plants, so many jars of fermented food in the fridge... I'm doing my part to use up the perishables by eating an entire pineapple in 3 days.

Getting my bearings walking around the Fair Oaks neighborhood of Sacramento while Xander is at work. This garage mural tells me I am close to the airbnb, pass by it a lot.

Another fabulous salad for lunch in a different vein, in a different place, with a different kid. Hello Sacramento!

This is how retirement parties look in the pandemic. Jerry misses his cake.
Timberlands finance has lost a lot of people this quarter... Jerry, John, Erick, Karl, Dan, Kelsey.

I got this paint by number for Christmas from Shanna. My goal was to have it finished by my birthday. Just barely did it! Getting it framed may be a different story...

Part of my birthday gift is a set of mopping booties. Not sure how effective they are, but they are fun!

I feel like I've been reading a lot lately, but my book count is done. Maybe I'm reading longer books... Enjoying the Beyond Hashtag Activism book.

Joan and I did a farm to field dinner at Lumen Field tonight. Great food, great company, unique experience for sure. We had fun taking some photos.

I walk by this building all the time, and I never noticed the horse... with three odd balls. Different perspectives, different eyes.

Bruce's last day at Solid Ground, on to greener pasture. He got some new hats for a send off. We dined at our local and colorful Thai place.

As Bruce starts his new job at Imagine Housing soon, we drove around the east side today checking out the properties. Chalet was by far my favorite.

Who's that older distinguished looking guy? He is looking more like his dad all the time...
Bruce got a new job. Buh-bye Solid Ground, hello Imagine Housing. He needed a photo for the website and announcement, I played photographer up on the roof.

All the buzz at work is the penthouse suite in the temple of the Smith Tower being for rent at $17k/month. Can't see the space needle from there any longer. Heck, we can only see half of it from our den.

Had a job interview today, for a director role.
First interview since 1998, which was really informal. This was a six persona panel and a presentation.
Our CFO recently commented on negotiate to restructure debt in his slippers. It was interesting interviewing in my slippers.
Glad it's over... valuable experience, but not a fun experience by any means.

Walking with Mom on the shores of Lake Union, our Monday afternoon routine... Enjoy walking over 8 miles, enjoy the fellowship, enjoy being in a less gritty neighborhood.
