My camera seems to always be on the wrong mode - selfie when I don't want it, flipped when I did. I clicked this before I swapped it, thought it was an interesting perspective.

We got a new rug, since the old one wasn't really purple anymore. I didn't like the new one at first, but it is growing on me.

My runner bib arrived. Enjoying the support group. Some are doing 100 miles, some 500, some walking, some running. An average of almost 5 miles a day will get me to Sesame Street by the end of April.

The historic first Starbucks in Pike Place Market, all boarded up. So tired of this senseless destruction. Maybe others will be too now that the protesters smashed such a beloved site.

This photo doesn't do it justice, but tonight the city turned yellow to memorialize 400,000 virus deaths. Dr. Fauci warned us this would happen.

Uh-oh, my new glasses hurt when I wear my headphones.
Today was supposed to be a quiet work day. This year was supposed to be kind of a coast year. But, brace yourself, our plans are not always Gods plans! A retirement announcement led to the posting of a Director role I would really like, so here goes nothing...

Working on my digital scrapbook. I worked on it all year, quarter by quarter, and tried to make it more about recording history and how it impacted us, living through a pandemic.

Back in the habit of coffee in the Sheridan lobby. It's a ghost town, perfect chance to get out of the apartment for an indoor but safe fuel up.

My word for this year is Brace.
It’s not sexy, but I think I can rally around it. “Brace yourself!” This pandemic is not done. Long term care facility angst probably isn’t done. There is a new normal to sort out.
Brace means to make stronger, to support.
For 2021 this means to me:
·
support the
family
·
stronger
relationships and community, take 2
·
complete 500 miles
of walking by end of June
·
focus on wellness
(sleep, eating, physical activity, relaxation)
·
support Tanuia if
she gets released
·
be patient, be
ready
