Eating on the sidewalk in Belltown is quite the adventure.  As is watching Bruce try to navigate Chicken and Waffles.  Thumbs up to food and craft cocktails at Snowy River.

We reserved a spot to spend a few minutes at the Seattle Aquarium today.  This is Adaa or Aniak, I can't keep them straight.  It's been awhile since we've seen them get whole crabs, they sure love tearing them apart.

Thursday night family night on Zoom.  Sometimes Alyexia and Xander pop on, but these are our regulars - Mom, Jerry, Grampa Rod at Queen Anne Manor, Bruce and I downtown, Christy in Orange County, Shanna in Renton, and Anastasia and Jacob (normally in S Seattle but in Kalama this week).

It's difficult to have a real conversation, but its more than we even had in the before times.

Columbia Sportswear added a strange tree looking frog design to their plywood.  Skins are becoming more popular, compared to original paintings.

From our apartment we can see three families of three seagul babies each.  They are growing fast and are hard to keep track of, but fun when they get active.

Protesters seemed to be Targetting Amazon but got a small independent coffee shop instead.

Eating out is an adventure, it is often easier to head in a direction and see what is open.

I got a letter from Wilsonville Corrections Facility today, I have a new pen-pal!  One of the things I found when researching how to help racial justice to to mentor folks in prison, so here goes a new adventure!

I'm trying to read more this summer.  I see that the Seattle Library and Seattle Art Lectures have an adult book bingo contest going, so I may play along and see how many of my reads fit. I ahd to research what afrofuturism is as a genre, but hey!  Life is all about the stretch...

I thought it was a long shot.  But Mom and I went in search of the limited edition Dick's Drive In Menu Hat, only available at the Queen Anne location.  Xander wanted one, so we walked over there, and scored the last two hats they had!

Did a quick one-way jaunt through the aquarium to visit the otters.  Perfect timing, got to see their feeding.  Missed these guys!

Jefferson and Grays Harbor counties, you sure suck at masking up.  But, you do a great job of signage on the floors.  If only I looked on the floor more!  But, these social distancing signs at the Rusty Tractor resturant in Elma certainly caught my attention.

It's raining in the rain forest?!?  The Hoh River is sure off the beaten path, but so worth the extra drive!  We both love it here, even with the dripping weather.

Hiking near Lake Crescent in Olympic National Park.  Easy to get steps with plenty of elevation here.  Love the big trees, greenery everywhere, and ocean views.  Not loving all the time in the car and lack of mask wearing in towns.
