We rearranged the living room to get the the temporary desks in a more scenic spot.  It's a little bright but fun.

We got to sit down and enjoy our coffee this morning.  Man it felt good!

We decided not to go to Pike Place, as more Starbucks start to reopen.  The one near Amazon wasn't really reopened so we walked to one in a hotel lobby.  Some people were hanging out so we did too.

Talk about appreciating the little things!

Tonight is Fotriede group.  We had Alyexi, Shanna and Stephen, Christy, Mom, Grampa, Jerry, Jacob, Anastasia, and Xander!  Can't get that many people together in real life, so enjoying this Zoom thing!

Tonight small groups at church resume.  A new couple, a couple with a trip to Oklahoma extending due to lock down, a couple who jsut moved to Seattle in January, and a couple stuck in West Seattle due to COVID and the bridge cracks.  Enjoyed connecting with our little church family.

Monday nights are Fischer/Carasa night.  This week with guest appearances by A Gwen and Mark in NYC.

Diana was joking that we see each other more in lockdown than normally.  Yep, if only we could get Mom to connect in less than 20 minutes!

We ventured to Montlake Fill for an afternoon walk.  Us and the rest of the city, with local parks closed due to COVID19 and good weather.  I liked this unique shot Bruce captured off a walking bridge.

Weekend Starbucks run!  I sure miss being able to sit and enjoy coffee and food.  It was sprinkling, so we took it straight home.

I've started listening to the COVID briefings while I work.  More facts and data than getting my news from Facebook.

Today being Good Friday, there were a lot of uplifting Christian messages.

Even President Trump had some good things to say.  He opened with:

Writing notes of encouragement in the sunshine this evening.  We're hopeful that the bans will be lifted and there will be enough volunteers still able to get time off to have Royal Family camp this summer.  In quarentine is a good time to generate some daily mail for the staff.

This is our relatively new shower curtain in our bathroom.  I love etsy, I can find all kinds of unusual things there.  We have a purple set of towels and a blue set of towels, was looking for a shower curtain that woudl work with both.  Perfect, and maybe I'll learn some geography too!

For two years I've been watching the website of a favorite artist Angela Moulton for an acrylic with two chickadees that look happy together (she can paint some grouchy looking birds!) and are in colors that coordinate with the apartment.

We have new masks!  Just in time for yesterdays CDC recommendation that everyone wear them when they just can't shelter in place.  A co-worker in Georgia is sewing them for her police department, put two in the mail to us.

We went to Whole Foods tonight to get a few things.  By the time we left they were in line to even get it.  Just another Friday in quarentine!

Tonight was a zoom kind of night.  We had a family call, then jumped off to attend Uncle Keith's retirement party.  I later figured out the mode to make it look like Brady Bunch tiles, but here's Shanna and Stephen.
