What a nice day. I laugh about being stuck in my glass box, but this really is an okay place to be stuck.

Just quietly isolating in our apartment, watching a movie, and boom, there is an essential worker outside washing our window!

Trying to build some routine and movement into my day. I pinned all these excercise routines, we'll see if any of it will help the scales or mental health.

And we just keep watching the numbers rise..
Is social distancing really working? Can we bounce back from the economic impacts? When will things go back to normal? What will the new normal look like?
Everyone is discontent... the people still going to work don't want to be there. The people working from home want to be anywhere else. And the people not working are the most stressed.
This too shall pass, keep looking for the bright side.

Happy birthday to me!
Quietest birthday ever...
We tried to get burgers at Canlis again, sold out again, so found this cute and delicious Mexican place. Butternut squash tacos. At home.

Today for lunch we went to a salmon dinner fundraiser hosted by Tom Douglas. It was fun to actually see him; that he cooked our lunch. We'll support the local businesses for as long as we can through this COVID outbreak.

We walked around Belltown photographing the boarded up bars and eateries this afternoon. Friday it looked like a mass of plywood, today there is more graffit and intention artwork to visually break things up.

Started work early today so I could get a midday walk in. Boy things are quiet! Saw about 3 other wakers and about 50 crazed homeless people.

I went through the day only speaking to one other human besides Bruce. I was liked a caged animal by the time Bruce got home form work, and my meal plans weren't coming together, so we went in search of take out to support the local businesses. This Thai place in Belltown has been on our list to try and they had a handy walk up window. Spicy but yummy!

We need to get some at-home coffee options going. In the meantime, Starbucks is open early enough to get Bruce to work at 7am. Except not today, our local one adjusted hours. So we got a nice walk in to Westlake Park.

Happy Monday, another week of WFH!
We're exchanging work from home photos amoung our co-workers. I'm sure glad we bought a dining room table, no matter how small!

Little did I know that this would be our last chance to enjoy our Sunday morning tradition of coffee and the newspaper in the rooftop lounge. We had to go across the street to get coffee and watched church on-line, but life still feels kind of normal.

To Moore Coffee for critters in our coffee. I guess oat milk is too light to draw in, but Bruce got a cute pup...

It's Friday the 13th. The city is closing down with Corona virus. And it's cold enough for snow?!? Oy!

How would this be as a view from our apartment? We toured today during a Sounder game, got to see things in action. Torn on this - great views from the Wave, but not in the middle of the city anymore if we moved to Pioneer Square.
