Dessert dash for the Caplaincy fundraiser dinner tonight.

We helped out so we got to see behind the curtain, which is always interesting.

The high table was over $600, several tables were zero, the whole dash raised $11k.  Sure some goregeous and delicious desserts donated!

Walked along the waterfront this morning to get to my UW Financial Conference.  Well, the part of the waterfront that isn't torn up, that is.  Love the seotter banners, and Ivars is a bit of a theme in my life with my grandparents right now...

Today was a Zephyr kind of day. 

We rode the commuter train from SeaTac to Pioneer Square. We watched the trains (and back-up) on our walk to Ujimaya for dinner.  We enjoyed the hotel sponsored event at the Zephyr bar.  And this artwork was in our bathroom at the new Embassy Suites right by King Street Station.

I'm not sure our shower stall has been this clean since we had it installed!

We hired cleaners to come for a few hours today ahead of listing the house, and boy was it money well spent!

They got it to sparkle.  Do they have better supplies, better technique, or what?!?  Now to just keep it that way for a bit...

It's the Cobb building, on the historical register but recently remodeled.  Hit both my desired to live in an old and funky building or a modern building.  And Mr Cobb was a timber baron!
