Trying to kill time today to let our contractor paint in peace. How better to kill a bunch of time than to wander around Ikea? Bruce started watching other men and tried to figure out where they were on the miserableness scale.
Pokemon event today! Three hours of scouting and catching Dratini's. Working toward our dragon badge, chasing the elusive shiny versions, and enjoying the community that showed up at the lake.

Baked potato bar for the youth tonight. Our Wednesday small group is a pretty special group of people.
Today all is white... ironically, today was a snow make-up day at Longview school district.

Pokémon Go Prepare event! Jacobs been looking forward to this, and he got more points than all of us! The nasty weather held off, we got outside and battled a bunch. Fun family day.
Fabric swatches! Been looking at furniture, ordered these swatches, looking forward to sorting them by Nope, Maybe, and Yep. Leaning toward blues, greens, corals, or red. And tweedy. And grey as long is it isn't boring...
Thursday night, time to teach Dave Ramsey. Tonight was a little rough, but still enjoying it and feeling good about helping people think about a challenging topics.
Valentine's fun. An Etsy find that could have been better executed. But the glitter bomb was fun. Tiny message in a bottle from Spain.
Today we built toy cars as a team exercise. Polly and Melissa helped the guys pace to avoid bottlenecks.
Should be exercising or working on my to do list with my precious little time at home, but its all about the Olympics instead.

All of us all together again! Everyone ordered something on a bun today, but oh so different things. Family and food, love it!
Crazy sight for this week is a huge bowl of wet paper in our kitchen. A slow but inexpensive way to "shred" our sensitive documents from seven years ago.
I wore my new vintage blazer from Austin today. No comments on the chocolate velvet blazer, but got a ton of compliments on the necklace I paired it with, so that is a win!
The walls may not be Vintage Find and Ginger Jar much longer, had our first painter visit today. Going neutral.
New liquid turquoise eyeliner. It always looks so bright when I put it on. Be bold.

Bruce won the centerpiece arrangement last night, so we have some bling in our dining room!

Why do I love this storage cube so much? Of all our furniture, this is one of the few I feel attached to?!? Xander never even liked it much. Now I use it as a nightstand.
Time to get the interior of the house painted.
I had hoped to get someone who I know does great work, but that didn't work out.
I was messing around on the Home Advisor site, and today I got two calls from local painters.
