This and many others need significant upgrades... wasn't thrilled to go over these in a pick-up, much less a log truck!

Happy birthday Anastasia!  But she is away, so Pokemon we will play!  Group event to hunt Kabutos.

Kabuto is a small Fossil Shellfish Pokémon with a large brown shell covering its body. There are two small eyes facing upwards on the outside of its shell, which it uses for sight when it hides on the ocean floor.

Bruce was able to evolve a Kabutops.

Came home to another coat of stain and post caps today.  It's coming along! We don't like the post caps, though, so the hunt continues...

I've been trying to pack a few shoeboxes a month all year.  For September I jumped it to 9 boxes.  As Bruce can attest, I have plenty of shoebox stuff in the basement.

Finding Wow gifts is the hardest part.  Donna gave me fabric, which makes a fabulous wow gift with some sewing notions added.

I also make sure each box gets something soft, a ball, sweets, and plenty of writing supplies.  I had space to keep adding fun items.

Shopping lists for moving into a frat are different than what you need to move into a dorm.  Like needing a suit.  So we headed to Portland tonight. He didn't get the hat.

We headed north and hung out with the in laws and Aunt Gwen.  We went to the bonsai garden.  Will sure miss the Weyerhaeuser Corporate headquarters!

Made a big sacrifice to miss First Saturday this month to volunteer at the 3:3 basketball tournament instead.  It was a good day, until the skies opened up on us.
