Yesterday our water was turned off by the city for water main work.  Today, an abundance of water.  It takes a really long time to fill a pool!  Sold the redneck hot tub, so the stakes got higher.  Summer fun...

We went to Portland this morning and trekked over the Hawthorne Bridge, behind us, for an adventure.

Our big outings today were to the Electric Bean and Home Depot.

We didn't find much of what we were looking for at Home Depot, but I did get some flowers to finally fill the empty pots in the yard.

Bruce has been sick this week.  But he still managed to install new blinds downstairs, a new light on the porch, and buy new porch chairs.

Survived his first week of work, now a week off.  Only the new employees have to wear safety vests.  And that is the funniest hardhat I've ever seen.  Dusty shoes, maybe he should take those off at the door...

Bruce is trying to photo bomb, but captured this just in time.  A two celebration day - Xander and Amethyst' graduation party and a fancy dinner to celebrate  Bruce & Renee's 50th anniversary.  All partied out... congrats to all!

Family outing!  To Freddies to get Xander steel toed boots and work jeans.  Both the kids are off to work very soon!

The halls of RA Long are lined with huge posters of the college bound kids.  Today Katie and Xander went back to campus to steal their posters.

Anastasia's been packing for Yellowstone.  Today her bedding got all the air sucked out of it to make more room.  Sure hope it waits until she unpacks to expand!

Today was the big day!  Class of 2016 RA Long.  No rain, yippee!

I've been pruning a lot of bushes lately.  When I walk the lake, I often find myself wanting to prune some of the vegetation.  Stuff at the lake seems to grow even faster than stuff in my yard!  I love these purple topped bushes, though, even though they are a little shaggy.
