Happy Memorial Day!
We took an impromptu ferry ride to Bainbridge Island for lunch.
After not having to wear masks most of the time, wearing them on public transits is a pain.

Day 2. Most of it was roads already travelled, but we have settled into a favorite coffee shop before walking across the 520 bridge.
24 miles total.
Urban hike for the long weekend!
Look a bus to Renton transit center, walked to Hilton Gardens in Bellevue.
Nice weather, nice company, nice stops and sights, and I could still move.
Friday before Memorial Day. Late in the afternoon. And I'm meeting with Brandon for Huskies at Work.
We had MAVen tongiht, our Michele-Anastasia-Vicki book club. We landed back at the apartment with the guys to view the slideshow to honor Jerry.
My desk has been cleared to only my ID, in preparation for my second SAP certification exam. I have to show the proctor a 360 view of the room, my cleared desk, my ID, and promise to not get out of my chair or talk to anyone. It was dark by the time I finished, but so glad to have the exams behind me!
After getting spoiled with a long string of nice weather, we now have clouds and some rain. The sky looks interesting, especially reflected against the building across the street.
We're part of the Dream Team at church this morning. It's also called first impressions. We stand at the door, watch for masks, welcome everyone, and greet other passerbyers.
Here we go!
We took a bus to Judkins Park, walked across I-90, had lunch in Bellevue, walked across 520, and took the light rail home from the Husky Stadium. 17 miles. It was a warm day but we had a nice breeze. Our feet are out of practice, they hurt.
But looking forward to more urban hike adventure this summer!
Motivated to eat better, but had to try the Chocolate Pudding Milkshake from Shake Shack. It was sold out last weekend, scored one tonight to celebrate the weekend, it was totally worth it!
Today was a very good day!
Here's the caboose we stayed in at the Iron Horse Bed & Breakfast. Wifi was pretty slim, but the rest of it was pretty fun.
Back to some weekend warrioring. Quick trip to CleElum for a change of scenery. Food, rest, walking, geocaching... nice break from the city and uncertainty.
Wore my Pair glasses today, got a lot of compliments on them. But, time to package them up and send them back, in hopes that a replacement will work smoother.
So long Jerry. May you be resting in peace now. No more need for fight or flight. No more not understanding why things can be the way you want them to be. Now to embrace the happy memories and keep pressing on...
Studying for my SAP certification exam for Management Accounting. I've been spending two hours a day on SAP training for as long as I can remember.
