Our new Washington Way bridge has been delayed until Nov 23rd.  It's looking so close to being done, and yet...  We've adjusted out driving patterns, but it should would be nice to have it open for walking!

Vacation day today, woot-woot!

Bruce and I decided to have a day trip of Ingressing in the Tumwater area.  A walka t Terrace Falls (photo), a cemetery tour, and several parks and coffee shops to visit.

Felt like vacation, which is hard with stay-cation days!

Bruce worked through his painting issues in Xander's room, ready to move on to flooring.  I had laminate picked out, but when Bruce pulled up the carpet, he found intact hardwood floors!  Just a bit of carpet glue to deal with, and reseal... would be cool if the whole house is this way.

New experience this evening, saw the Rocky Horror Picture show.  Fun as a bucket list item, not as an annual event.  Enjoyed hanging out with our Ingress buddies.

TGIF!

Today was an Ingress kind of day.

Morning jog, three "toads" there with me.  Got off work at noon, ran to the post office, decided to walk around and met a toad.  When Bruce got home from Olympia, we went all over town playing and walking.

The blue screen is good, that means we, the blue team, have big fields over the area.  The green message at the bottom is bad, it means that a toad is destroying our portals, something we are seeing a lot of lately.

We ended our Rainier walk by driving up to the highway lookout to watch the space station fly by.  I was surprised how close it seemed and how fast it moved.

I'm not sure my nerves can take much more of sitting in a crowded area watching tennis!  They are still in it, just barely.  Ethan and Xander had two good games and one horrible game today.

Back to tennis, got to watch Xander's second sub-district game today.

His first game took him from winners bracket to consolation bracket in 9 minutes.  Now he needs to win the next 5 games to make it to districts... that's a lot sitting on the edge of my seat tomorrow!

One of the pitfalls of on-line shopping for clothes is not being able to see the color or texture well.  This sweater is a great example  Wasn't thrilled when I pulled it out of the box.  But, today I really like it!

I've always been curious about the Cedar Creek Grist Mill near Woodland.

Now I know what it is.  Very scenic.  The subject of many photos, amazing how many tourists showed up on this gloomy day.

Retail therapy.

I had a few things I wanted to shop for.  Replace a missing can opener.  Replace a curling iron on the fritz.  Stock up on soap, shampoo, and toothpaste.  Shoebox ministries shopping.

So I took a leisurely trip home form Aberdeen today,s topping at the outlet malls and K-Mart.  Score!

Bruce and I headed to the St John neighborhood of Portland today for our First Saturday festivities.  This is our third trip there Ingressing.  I like the area.  Today an artist was painting this mural of the St John bridge.
