The last day of June. Because there aren't 31 days in the month, like our tenant believes.
This is my summer Bible study. Beth Moore, one of my favorite leaders. I got the book at a garage sale, and it already has someone elses answers in it, which is a bit weird. But I love going at my own pace rather than Beth's breakneck normal speed.

Meet our new friend Mr Water Cooler. Move over recycling bin, there's something cooler!
With our tea kettle busted, ice tasting funny, my desire to drink more filtered water, and the current hot weather, seemed like a good time to get a better water solution.
Hot, cold, cool!

Today was our day to show Jesse Seattle and scour Pike Place Market for hostess gifts for Anastasia to take to Europe. Success on both counts.
Jesse got to experience Alki beach, spam sliders at Marination Station, the super cool downtown library, increased traffic and strangeness with the Gay Pride parade, seeing Seattle from 73 stories up (Columbia tower, the tall black building), a gelato pick-me-up, the Pike Place Market - flying fish, gum wall, piggy bank, first Starbucks, mini donuts, and the best burger she has ever tasted at the Rainforest Cafe.
Fun day!

Anastasia wanted a big group photo with all or most of her party attendees, but it was too hard to pull even my side of the family together, much less the whole group.
It was a sweltering day, but it was a wonderful graduation party. So many people I don't get to see very often.
Now we can officially say that we are past graduation and into summer plans. #SUMMER

Since school got out Xander has been binge playing World of Warcraft. Which means it is more difficult for me to get time on my computer. And that I get jealous that he has so much stinking free time. #SUMMER

The lake, the lake, the lake. The place to be on 80 degree evenings. Bruce and I met up with Ingress friends and later walked the lake. Anastasia had a picnic dinner at the lake then walked to Dutch Brothers for dessert. Nice breeze, lovely surroundings, life is good.

Bruce and I spent 13 hours out on an adventure today. We got up and o-dark thirty for me to attend a meeting in PeEll, then we Ingressed the rest of the day. We did the PeEll - Raymond - South Bend - Cathlamet loop. Saw a lot of neat stuff and had a great day.
Back to work tomorrow...

An evening on the water. Three different people took the paddleboard out this lovely evening. I can attest to some pretty darn big fish in that there lake.

Happy Father's Day to a very awesome dad. It's been a few years since the kids have needed to be pushed on the swings, but we still visit parks as a family.
Low key day beating the heat and eating where Dad wants to eat. #STOMACHACHE

Today was our big anomaly day. And it was so fun!
Here's out little Fischer clan, who were part of a bigger Lower Columbia team, who were part of a larger group that overran downtown Portland. We got asked so often what the heck we were doing.
Our Lower Columbia won our four battles, but our team lost Portland overall, BUT our team won the worldwide war. And the game continues...

I spent the morning working ion stuff around the house, then we headed down to Portland to Ingress.
Bruce and I walked almost 11 miles today, but it was all in a very small area - we kept looping around the same cool neighborhood working on missions.
One of the things we found were statues of little people on rocks. This guy was only a few inches tall. Fun!

Rabbits became kind of a theme of my two days in Federal Way.
When we did introductions we had to share a memorable moment from the past year. My boss talked about teaching her dogs to chase rabbits out of her garden.
Our CEO mentioned having a Texan solution to the rabbit problem.
I saw plenty of rabbits in town - on my morning jogs, at Fischer's, and there were tons at the Hylebos wetlands where I walked both days.

Each time I go to Corporate Headquarters now, I wonder if it will be the last time. Two day meeting this time, the Timberlands Controller bringing together her extended lead team from all over the US, Canada, and even Uruguay. I'll miss this building when HQ moves to Seattle...

Mom and I had our last adventure of the trip, fighting traffic to get up to G&G's. We finally made it!

A quiet day at home. Anastasia slept most of the day after being out all night for senior party, both kids are still sick. Leaving us adults to attend church, play some Ingress, and read our novels. Mom heads north tomorrow, another trip winding down...

Another milestone. Today was the gradation ceremony. We had great weather, maybe a little extra wind blowing off the graduation caps. The ceremony was very well done, maybe a bit long. 180 graduates, plenty of proud relatives.

Anastasia spoke at Baccalaureate this evening. We were quite impressed with not only her speech, but the quality of the student led service. Plenty of poise, energy, and hearts for God. The gown is here, we're getting closer to the big day!

Look at what's in the fruit bowl. Or what's not in the fruit bowl. No variety. Last night we bought 5 nectarines, and they are all gone. Guess the boy likes nectarines.

Graduation cards in the mail and yearbooks in the classroom. Sigh, yearbook. Brings back memories of my editor days. It was fun to look up Anastasia's photo credits.

The theme of the day was dresses.
Anastasia tried on her new boutique dresses.
We decided to keep one and return one.
But that left her with no neutral dress to wear under her read cap and gown, so to the web...
No luck.
Donned her prom dress and headed to the dance for, yep, about 30 minutes.

This is what an Ingress party looks like. I enjoyed watching the dog, he was so patient with his owner stopping and starting to collect the maximum gaming gear. We were at the Portland Art Museum, plenty to look at besides the screen...

RA Long poses for a selfie.
Give Bruce the camera and no telling what will happen. Quite a few cheesy photos of me.
We're walking downtown again... dodging the sprinkles and the interesting street people...

Anastasia's been home, binge watching Game of Thrones. We went to the Relay for Life meeting together, but I didn't think to take a photo until it was over.
